C6 Z06 TPS Long Tube Headers & X Pipe Install

Everyone knows that a corvette build isnt complete without a set of long tube headers and x-pipe. Now there are plenty of long tubes for the corvette platform but i found these TPS units to be the best bang for your buck headers. Stay tune for sound clips

Ceramic coating the headers eliminates the heat issues ….header wraps are not recommended by any of the manufacturers

@@daniel1997gsx the only reason they don't reccomend is that header wrap traps the heat inside the wrap and will potentially cause the headers to crack since theres more heat than standard application. That's really it. Most dont crack but some do

I ran tsp on my 16z and I just ordered long tubes for my 18z, they sound fantastic! I to wonder why in the world these people have drank the koolaid on these $3k+ sets.

Because tsp is mild steel made off shore. Kooks and Arh are made in the U.S. put whatever you want on your car but the Quality of Kooks and Arh are way better.

Just FYI. those are not long tube headers. These are mid length design like kooks and American Racing Headers. Long tubes are like LG Motorsports or Texas Speed

Do it. I just installed them on my 08 ls3. They sound stupid!!! I have full zr1 areo, bilstein shocks, z06 big brakes and 255 front and 305 rears. Tsp 1 7/8 lt headers and offroad xpipe it's a ridiculous car

Did you have any issues getting the xpipe on? I can't get mine. Doesnt matter which end I put on first, it doesn't even come close lining up

Good, however with the exhaust wrap over it comes very close.

@@TheOneTrueMvP Fitment is on point, my only complaint is the clamp with the kit. I could never get them to seal properly so i got v band installed at the end of the long tubes to the next pipe.

Tsp is short for Texas speed they have been around forever. They do mainly stuff like motors and whatnot I had the tsp longtubes on my ctsv and they were great I hope they are just as good on the z06 as I'm putting them on this weekend Decent looking parts but the motors they do are actually some of the best for a big volume shop

The wheels you have? Are those the spyder tt zo6? I have them also on my z51 but i want to find some 19×12 for the rear bc im putting on the zo6 rear finders. Where did you get yours?

They’re stock 2009+ Z06 spyder wheels that came with the car. The rears are 19x12 from factory, id keep an eye out on Craigslist for a set. I see them there every now and then

Gotta admit not a big fan of the blacked out headlights. Looks like bug eyes. However, actual black headlights from the actual c6 color doesnt look bad. Yours just look kinda kiddish and ricey. Just my opinion
