c6 zr1. The ls9 is savage. C6 Zr1+ LSS9 = Beast. I remember going from my c6 z06 stock and had a killer opportunity for a zr1. I took it. When i first hit that throttle it was scary and i was already driving a z06

Nice! In your opinion, what would be the appropriate C7 or C8 LMR package for: 1. Mainly a street driver..never tracked, but not a daily driver either. 2. For an experienced, very capable driver used to high performance cars that will take time to learn the cars capabilities exceedingly well. 3. A driver who hates to lose spur of the moment street races but no money involved, just racing for fun and bragging rites. 4. Money not a problem, whatever is needed to match reliability and safety to speeds attained will be done; want the very BEST quality. Thanks for any input on this. Cant wait for my investment to mature so I can come meet you guys and get started! 😎

A proper custom cammed with good ported heads and a mamo msd C6z that makes 600-630whp will walk away from a 700 whp c6 zr1 on weight and power band alone . 200 less pounds , the mid range , power under the curve and power over time 65-6700 shift point compared to a 7k-7500 rpm shift point is a big difference. Real racers will know this . N/a power for power is faster . Boost needs 100 or more hp to run with or beat a equal n/a car. In the cold weather okay in warm weather that boosted car is losing a lot of that power it posted on the dyno

@@lg740xx call lmr and they will tell you the same thing my guy. Stick to Xbox . Me and my friends have run and tested most of the cars out here supercars included . I’m not rich but well off but they are I know what cars run in the 1/4 and 1/2 mile stock and tuned .

Kooks vs ARH? Comparable fit, finish, and HP gains? Are their Cats comparable also? I see both used on many rides, just looking for some feedback before purchasing. Also, is ceramic coating worth it? C6 ZR1 All the way!! I own a 1000+ single cab Sierra and a 1200+hp 99 Z28 small tire car. But my tuner has a white 09 ZR1 with kongs most bad ass blower porting one of his custom ground cams the o.e ls9 heads have been cnc ported, Nitrous Outlet ls9 blower plate system, FIC 250 pound injectors its still a SBE end car with 17,000 miles ARH 2" primary headers 3" catless x pipe with a loud ass Corsa exhaust. It definitely has alot more mods thats just what I can remember it makes definitely makes north of a 1000hp boost only I think its jetted for a 100 shot its never made a full pull on the dyno without spinning. With it being a 6 speed car with all that instant power and tourqe its absolutely one of the most (possibly the most) terrifying car I've rode or drove and thats without the spray. It honestly feels like it wants to kill you. Ive never rode in a c7 Z but I doubt they are as raw and nasty as the c6 Z's!

I have a C6 2012 GS with a Vortex supercharger and mild supercharger and full headers making 710... I 'hit it' at 100 and it's pretty wild... have to keep the TC 'on'... can't imaging more and trying to keep the rear straight.. (running 345 Michelin's)..

Just my guess before I watch it. C6 is lighter power to weight ratio. But newer tech on C7 could make it really close... edge to C6.

I own both cars...the C6 ZR1 has far better parts durability...hence it was $20k more when new. The C7 Z06 was built to a $100k price point and suffers from GM beating suppliers on every component. Both of my cars are tracked hard and modified. the C6 11,000 track miles with no parts failures. The C7 had so many the list is too long ! The C7 has a problem with the electronic rear diff applying to much torque to one wheel at times sending the car off in a direction not intended...happened to me 3 times in 4,000 miles! Look at the number of C7 Z06's wrecks on KZbin and on Coparts salvage.....and Mark Rouse, GM president, 2018 at Bell Isle Indy Car Grand Prix where he put a new C7 ZR1 in the wall on a pace lap! C6 never put a wheel in the grass!
