So how do you pronounce the song's name? Is it "Hex-Eleven Heaven" or "Eleven-Dollar Heaven"?

I suppose it's the former. That's the hexadecimal value written to the SID's channel control registers (0xD404, 0xD40B, and 0xD412 for each of the three channels). The human-readable decimal number would be 17. Sometimes, they use a $*nn* prefix instead of a 0x*nn* or *nn*h prefix when describing hexadecimal numbers. It may trick some people into thinking it's a dollar amount (money, of course), but it's actually not. If you want some further details on why it's 0x11, here's a representation of the register: Bit 0 = 1; The ADSR envelope is triggered. Bit 1 = 0; The oscillator-sync feature is disabled. BIt 2 = 0; The triangle-waveform ring-modulation feature is disabled. Bit 3 = 0; The oscillator phase is *not* forced at 0. Bit 4 = 1; The triangle waveform is enabled. Bit 5 = 0; The sawtooth waveform is disabled. Bit 6 = 0; The pulse waveform is disabled. Bit 7 = 0; The noise waveform is disabled.
