Yes, most probably wouldn't even think of jumping all the way to the left onto the platform right at the beginning. A hidden endless runner where you can collect bonus lives, but also easily lose one before even entering the church.

Wow what a grim ending! Great play through - how many hours do you put in to get that good?

Not as much as you might think. I create my 'no death' longplays for entertainment, not to showcase my gaming skills. My usual procedure is to play through the entire game using savestates and then record the longplay with as few savestates as possible. Then I put the video parts together in the video editing program. However, I also create unedited gameplay videos for my channel, which are recorded using my MiSTer FPGA system. This game, in particular, wasn't too demanding, as it only has about 24 screens and offers excellent controls. However, that shouldn't mislead you, as the game does have some very challenging screens.
