3 channels of sound and an extremely creative musician/programmer Martin Galway! This is just excellent! The tune has been with me on and off in my head since the c64 glory days. It's one of those games I loaded just to listen to the music, heh!

One of the c64's finest pieces of music & one of Galway's many creative peaks. This has near spot on filter settings and sounds even more richer and powerful than I remember it to be.

Yes, it's cause the Ocean boss asked Bob Wakelin to "be inspired" by this image. It made no sense to him, but he did it anyway.

As one of my favorite Amiga musician put it (Liljedahl) Galway is god! I really liked the game, and the music and SFX... But Galway did so much and this for me maybe is not the top of the list...

This tune was worthy of a much better game than this pile of unplayable tripe. I was never more disappointed with game than with this.

Marty O'Donnell bland lol. I'm the biggest fan of music from the 8bit era and credit it for a very big influence in how I write today but to say music from Marty is bland is hilarious. Glorious I'd accept. I'm less of a fan of his music fom Destiny say and a lot of Halo Reach actually but his music from the first few Halo games is absurdly good

awful game.. killer tune

What happened to video game musicians? This shit is thoughtful, intricate, nuanced - and these days we've got kids worshiping that utterly bland shit from Marty O'Donnell and the like.

+allrequiredfields I think there are a couple of issues. Firstly a lot of old 8-bit soundtracks - the majority - were awful. We only remember a hundred or so that were any good, we forget the thousands that were rubbish. Second the rise of CD audio meant that it was easy to licence pop tracks from Orbital or nu-metal acts etc, so there was less incentive to pay an original composer. And lastly the likes of Hubbard and Galway etc had no other outlet. Now that game music is fully-produced studio audio, why would a talented musician waste his time making a computer game soundtrack? There's no cachet, no career progression, the money is awful, the workload is huge, your name is buried way down the credits.
