As per my comment on your last SEUCK video, thanks for the 'comforting' information; it's nice to know I'm along the right lines with my games. In my game I'm working on at present (CHILL3R) I wanted more enemy variation than I had in Chiller 2 (my first real game - do not look at the code!) so taking inspiration from the enemy objects menu in SEUCK and a vague recollection of a similar enemy menu screen in ZZAP! in the CREATURES diary, my new game also uses enemy 'types' / objects to help me vary the enemies more. Of course, it doesn't look like a nice menu as it's just tables of info in my code with related comments! But doing things that way, I can reuse enemy sprites but attached different colours, speeds, directions and so on. Nothing ground breaking, but I'm happy with it considering I have no formal training and just try to figure stuff out myself. Sorry for the long comment!

Thank you for the long comment! :) it's really good to know the video is comforting. Back in the day, I used to voraciously consume the Braybrook and Walker games dev diaries for programming design hints. These days it's quite a bit easier to find information.
