This just blows my mind, imagine seeing this in the 80's... I get that this is programmed on modern computers, but that doesn't change the fact that the C64 is still capable of this.

C64 = 1 Neo Geo sprite, Neo Geo = 381 sprites :P

Sprites work very differently on the Neo Geo, and they're used for everything. Not remotely comparable. Further, you're comparing a relatively affordable computer from the early '80s to a horrendously expensive system from a decade later.
