I recently found your channel because I love car detailing and what I really love about You channel is that you explain what you're doing, why you're doing it and various polishes, pads and techniques you're using. There isn't a lot of detailers out there that do that. My 2 new favorite detail channels are You and Vermijl Car Detail. You guys produce a work of art and it's amazing to see the transformations of the cars. I can see your heart, soul and sweat go into every car. Btw, I love the way the Z06 came out, DAMN !!!

Congratulations on your 5000 Caleb. You’ll be enjoying many more subscribers in the future. Why do people buy black cars? It’s a good thing they have someone like you with your skill level. Right on👊

Looks great… I like to throw a drop of fine cut in with the micro cut if you’re looking for a little bit more

You should try optimum hyper polish with an orange pad on these Cars or similar medium paint systems. Works great on most softer clears as well. Great one step with good clarity and gloss

I will give that a shot actually. I've never toyed with Optimums Polishing products.

@@ccdetailing intensive polish is great as well, more aggressive and can finish down on harder paint systems with extra passes.

Congrats on your 5K! Love the video! That car only knows the broom from carwash, I can’t believe so many swirls and scratches can be done to the paint!

Right?? It was surprising because a lot of people who own cars like a Z06 Corvettes usually try to take immaculate care of them. But the previous owner of this one definitely ran it through the ringer!

Hello I asked you a question on what pad you used on the blk Corvette on what pads you used and thank you for responding I just got my Rupes LHR73E but is it ok to the Maguires pads that you suggested or should I use one of the orange pads? I don’t have that many scratches. I just have a lot of swirl marks and small scratches if you will and what’s a good compound to use that polish it and get all that stuff out.thank you once again if all that makes sense to you, which I’m sure it does your professional

Please come to NC and fix my Z06 for me! I have the same issues water spots and slight scratches 😊

Ship it down to Florida and I’d be more than happy to clean it up 😂😅

@mnoell35 what part of NC are you in? I'm around Charlotte and do detailing on the side when I'm not busy with the day job. I have a Grand Sport as well so I understand the platform and paint very well.

Hey what’s up what pad did you use on the Corvette with the Rupes thx
@ccdetailing2 ай бұрын
For the cutting stage, Meguiar's Microfiber Cutting Pads. Make sure it says "Cutting Pad" rather than "Polishing Pad" when you look it up. Can easily mistake one for the other. For the Refining/Polishing stage, yellow Rupes polishing pads. Hope this helps!
