Awesome video! I think one of the biggest indicators that the Z06 isn’t a car that wants to be restricted in any capacity, are the downshifts. Even in just regular tour mode, they’re loud, aggressive, and “primed” in a way that makes it feel like the car is constantly trying to break free from its own skin. Sport and Track mode are both so hyper aggressive, that even when you as the driver are trying to chill, the car makes it sound like you’re racing on a circuit lol. We have to always remember that the LT6 is a legitimate race engine, plucked right out of the C8.R GT3 monster, and given more power and more revs. It’s no wonder that the street car is aggression personified!

I can’t imagine what it feels like to put the pedal on the floor and rev out. I have a stingray and it already feels a bit too fast for the road at times. Glad you made this video explaining the nuance and drive feeling. Great explanations and talking in front of the camera

Thank you, I appreciate it. The Stingray is a great car, and definitely didn’t take it for granted when I had it. I almost went eray until I realized how the Z is all motor, and how special that engine is. It just feels like it wants to just keep going.

Cant wait to get my Z06. Glad your loving it. If your in the bay area take it up Hwy 9 from Saratoga CA to Santa Cruz. Its my favorite twisty road in NorCal. HWY 1 is good but too much traffic.

C8 Z06 need to come with a racing helmet, the car is night and day from my C8. Love the sound from my Z06!!!

Just sold my c7z this month. Plan on saving up some more and getting a c8z. Yeah the spec I want is very pricy so hope it’s worth it.

You need to drive a eray before making your opinions as 90 percent of people that drive eray and zo6 pick eray.

The video isn’t about the eray - the point being made is I can almost guarantee the eray rides smoother due to the more loose suspension. Don’t need to drive it to know that it is a better grand tourer. The Z06 is rough. Z07 is more rough. It explains exactly why more people would pick the ERay, but I wouldn’t.
