Serious question: What’s the advantage of this factory version of the ZR1 vette versus the 1000HP “stock” vette produced by aftermarket companies that have been doing this for years here on KZbin for years? I’ve been seeing upgraded brakes, turbos/superchargers, exhaust and added carbon fiber for years. Is it special bc it’s from the factory? Is it better from the factory? Is it warranty? Is it resale?

Well if these ZR1’s are rare which most are, their resale value will only go up. But they could cost $300K with premiums. My C8 Z51 HTC with 200HP nitrous shot gives me 700 HP for less than $100K. Turbos and blowers can get you 1000 HP for another $20K.

They haven’t been cheaply built since the 1980’s. My modified C5 Z06 is 650 HP with 120,000 miles on it and I drive it like I stole it everyday. It’s still holding up very well. And it will blow the doors off of your Prius Chief.
