Hey Owen, I remember like back in November, me and my family were at Costco when I saw a massive figure in a Corvette. I walked over. I was blown, That was when you were there, I asked a bunch of questions. Then, something I probably will never forget about happened, you let me sit inside of the C8. I was super hyped. That was when I realized you were a KZbinr, with that scanning sticker thing. My dad scanned it, and I instantly subscribed. So, I want to thank you for an awesome opportunity

Awesome John! So you are like one of my first 100 subs! Thanks for all the support you have given me man! The last 7 to 8 months of KZbin has been a crazy journey and I cant wait till Halloween again! Loved going out and seeing and meeting people! When the C8 is done I plan on going to more car shows and events like cars and coffee. Ill be sure to let you guys know when and where I go to events so you can come see the car after its finished! 🤘😀🤘

I like to tease Owen. He is no BS. I would never do what he is doing to my C8. People change their cars usually because there are lots in the area. He is in Portland. There aren't that many C8's in the Northwest. He is doing this for the channel.

@@thereissomecoolstuff I know I couldn’t stand not to be able to drive my car. It was at Graham Rahal’s shop twice, for install of my exhaust and lastly the pTR Lingenfelter intake and not having it here to drive was killer. I’ve since retired and I try to drive my car every day and make all Cars & Coffee events, which seem to be every Saturday. My perfect world would be to have a shop do it and call me when done, and I have another bad ass whip to drive in the meantime. I give him made props!

Hey Joseph! Thanks for the kind words, I have had to fail many times in other things to gain the patience and diligence you talk of. And I still mess up everyday. Im sure you would be surprised at what you can handle when given the task 😀👍

@@OwenJamesC8 at 65, my biggest task is what appointment I have on a given day, what’s the weather going to be and will this cigar blend well with this bourbon. 🤣 Love what you’re doing and can’t wait to see the end result. I will say this, I’m contemplating the Street Hunter side intake blades. Like to get more info on how they mount and if I can get them and have them finished perfectly and installed without infringing on the cars body, I’ll go for it but it seems as tho they would require some detailed finishing over just painting and installing.

Thanks! little bit at a time lol. Yea Im super excited to see the wheels. Im pretty sure the setup will be wider in the front and back combined than any c8 ever has been and any stock car ever sold. So some crazy numbers! And the the wheel design. It will be great seeing everything come together! Thanks again for telling me about Chet 😂

C8 is such a great platform 👏🙌👌. Id build an insane c6 r or x6 z06 for track, c7 as a show car + weekend car, and a c8 with a turbo as a daily 😍😍😍.

Couldn't agree more! I plan on twin turbos on her after the kit is done with a custom exhaust. She is going to be sick! 😀👍

Owen you can use a little heat to shape the contours on the fenders. They will get a little set and help stay attached.

@@OwenJamesC8 just be gentle with the heat. Play with a hair dryer before you grab a heat gun. Owen you are doing it. I will be the first to shake your hand when you announce a meetup. Please do a detailed video on the wheel purchase. I want to use aerolarri as well. Want to see how they balance to.

I didnt get a discount or anything and it still saved me around 4 to 8k for the wheels. The vossen I was looking at getting was 15k or more. Amazing value and Chet is great to work with. Cant wait to show you the wheels man. Also where in the PNW are you from?

For real man! When I waited for my c8 I think 12 to 15 months I was going nuts! But it will be absolutely worth it. Cant wait for you to get it man!
