C8 z06 gets JLTuri intake!

I like the look of it man! I would even get a replacement carpet and cut it out much closer and frame out just the bubble part and expose mostly just the body of the JLT intake. Very nice work. Loved the video!

The nice part of the C8 and JLT, for us in California. You can't see it. So they can't CARB you by visual. :)

I think it would be cool to use the JLT intake and cut the carpet to the size of the JLT window and add trim to the carpet. So you just see the JLT window and you don’t lose any trunk space. I really love the looks and performance of the Eventuri but I don’t want to lose trunk space. I love my Z06 so much that I actually even drive it to the grocery store and BJ’s. You can actually fit a lot in the trunk and frunk as is. With Eventuri, boxes won’t fit in the trunk very well. It’s a hard decision. Especially since mine’s a HTC so you can’t show the engine bay and trunk at the same time because the panels would collide.

@@Brandonsgarages Yeah, pricey and the Eventuri has the best torque and HP gains throughout the rpm range. I’ll probably just end up getting that one and lose some trunk space. Probably upgrade in the spring since I don’t have much driving time left with nice weather here in northern Maryland.

Sorry man, it’s on my todo list. I’m swapping upper pulley soon to a 2.73 and testing it against a new model 3 performance in a drag race (I think I can hang for 1/8 mile. )

Did you notice the C8 ZR1 has the same intake and filters as the Z06. Hard to improve from the OEM. Would think if the ZR1 gets plenty of air with the same filter setup as the Z06 that the OEM is plenty.

@@richarddjohanson you aren’t wrong . The current offerings only picked up under the curve (eventuri). JLT didn’t make my car 60-130 any faster.

@@Swflac8 lucky for me only cost 8 bucks for the trim! Will need to order more carpet to make it fit better so that’s an expense . It’s more of a car show kinda thing when the rear hatch is popped.
