100% on 2M.... I reached out to them for pipes for my C8Z06 but the dude was super rude!!! Out of principle, I bought Soul cats. Twice as much but at least their customer service is awesome....

I put Fabspeed Bypass Pipes on my c8 stingray, along with their "mini-cats". I had a permanent CEL, that my ODB reader couldn't delete. I mean, it would delete it, but it would pop back up immediately. I hate seeing that CEL, but I love the sound of deleted cats. I know you have answered the question quite a few times on here concerning your CEL's, but it's been some time now since you answered them (9 months?). Can you please update the situation you have with CEL's now, currently? I am getting my Z06 in a couple of weeks, and doing bypass pipes is one of the first mods on my list, if the CEL issue isn't too bad. Like you said, easily deleted every 400 miles. If that's truly the case (still), then I'm all for it.

@@Brandonsgarages Thanks. And it's just as easy as resetting it with the reader? Also, I know you have an exhaust now, but before you installed the exhaust....how was it with just the cat delete? I know it's loud as hell in sport/track. But is it mild in tour? Reason I ask, is that I only want to do a cat delete, and leave stock exhaust for now.

It’s a great idea but I’m thinking that panel is going to rattle because it only has a single little latch holding the door shut.

@@jaxsonhugh9334 possibly but that latch has to also go up over the factory aluminum the way I have it cut so it holds tight. It takes a lot of pressure to get it closed and there really isn’t any movement I’ve noticed.

I live in California and I'm doubtful these are legal here (nothing else is). Honestly, I'm not sure I'd do this anyway. My Z06 is such a beast already and that rear trunk gets hot enough even with the exhaust manifolds wrapped up. Nice work though. You earned a new subscriber.

@@Corvette.Ronnie yeah so far it seems sound change only and weight loss not sure any power gains yet. I haven’t noticed any big heat changes tho although on the track I’m sure I would. I think the ceramic coating helps some. Thanks for subscribing!

Some people prefer to use different style windows , etc and it’s all there. I’m not trying to sell anyone anything which is why I’m not big on putting product links. The second half of the sales receipt has my address on it I don’t think that’s information I would want you or others to have.

@ I will say highest fuel demand likely is around there given the mph and rpm as it’s probably under its biggest load. I do wonder if it’s a legit fueling issue in some way given where it does it. Sometimes fuel cuts sound similar to hitting limiter.

I had kooks long tube headers on my 2009 Ford Shelby GT 500 and that thing screamed with over 950 HP. But I traded it off as down for the wife's 2023 Vette. even with Nitto tires, it could not hold the rstreet and would spin at 40 and 50 if you jumped on it hard. Scared the piss out of me a few times. That thing your Vette sounds awesome.

If you want to drop another 5-8 lbs. per wheel, contact Litespeed Racing. They can do forged magnesium wheels for a VERY attractive price. They'll be lighter than the factory CF wheels as well. If you're completely obsessed with weight reduction, this would be the way to help you get there without having to spend $15-20K on CF wheels. Also, getting rid of the sound deadening material in the cabin will drop more weight than you think. Changing the driver seat to a CF fixed bucket will drop weight too. Don't forget, you have to add-in the weight of brackets and sliders. I don't know if any CF body panels will help reduce weight. They're expensive and may not save as much as since the car already has light weight panels. I spent a few years taking 180+ lbs. off a 2006 e90 BMW 330. These are the steps I took as well as what you've done. I didn't delete any seating, but was able to do a CF hood, roof and trunk.

Just a tip here try covering the microphone with a pop filter it would get rid of the air sound while keeping the exhaust chase sound clear

I have a C8Z too but bone stock and i think the stock exhaust is perfect for what it is. But modified, yours is the best sounding out of everything else people have done. It just sounds perfect throughout the rev range. No more "trumpet" note found in the lower/mid rpm. Sounds like a legit ferrari at WOT. It is just perfect. Can't wait to see more vids of this beast please don't stop! lol

@ I agree I think from a modded standpoint it really sounds great. Maybe a bit loud but for my area that’s alright because I’m rural. If I was in a neighborhood I would be fined every day lol. The car is really amazing and I’m lucky to have one. What a great time to be a car guy!!

@ ok. I’ve heard those ones work well. I just got all of my stuff in (up here in northern Michigan so it’s terrible weather for me). Barely squeezed in 600 miles on the car in a week before it snowed for break in. As soon as I get some time I’m going to give them a go! Have kooks headers, valvtronic exhaust, catless mid pipes. If I get the codes I’m going to gig weld in some high flow green cats.

@@Gonefishingtkc no I am doing the kind of weird launch control way where u depress both paddles then unclick one and reclick. It allows the rpms to slow down and uses the preset limiter to launch. When I do the burnout I just use both paddles
