It would very interesting to follow this little Deere to a woods job-site, and get some video of just how hard it works skidding logs. Where I live there used to be a really big logging industry, employing many. One thing I learned 55 years ago, loggers will use 130% of any piece of equipment. They work in full speed all day, and push like no others to get it done.

Boots................I was a phone guy for years. Our boots had to have !/2" heels or more that were square (perpendicular) to the sole. The reason was so you would not slip off a foot peg while working up on a pole or a ladder. Different application. Red Wing is big in that area. Great videos dude. Watch 'em all the time.

May I make a suggestion, if most of your work requires you to pull something out from the center of the machine, and you have a roof that limits your up-travel, could you use some type of electric winch that mounts back near the driver of the forklift, and than travels down the spine of that big yellow arm that you guys use! and use it like a fishing rod! you know pulleys which follow the spine of your yellow arm and than drops off at the end, so you can keep the arm lower, than winch up to the first pulley and than raise the arm up, so you can get tha big stuff out from the middle of your dozer and get rid of the long straps that always seem to just be a little to long for the job!
@ShainAndrews Жыл бұрын
