This is my third time watching this auction video because it reminds me of our group of buyers who trusted me to buy bucket and digger trucks for them. Customers would ask me if I would buy a particular unit would I take it back to our shop and recertification repairs be done and they would buy it from me. Many times I had a $500 deposit before buying a truck. Crazy deals all the time but we made it fun.

I would really enjoy watching Kevin paint that machine.

For those long winded nuts on the press, if you put a wire wheel on an angle grinder or drill, you can put the brush up against the nut and spin them quickly.

It does the same thing as my son's toy dozer. Just untangle his sister's hair from the sprocket and it'll run just fine. 🤣

Probably will never get seen but on the motor/engine debate. An engine is a type of motor because a motor is a device that turns energy to motion. Engines are just a specific variation that turns heat into motion, electric motor uses electricity instead of heat for motion, pneumatic motor uses pressurized air (not to be confused with steam as that requires heat) and of course a hydraulic motor uses pressurized fluids. The old water mills could be considered a hydraulic motor but not to be confused with a hydro plants that turn water pressure into electricity (energy) as that would be a generator which would be the opposite of a motor.

I'm baffled at the lack of grease you find on these machines. These are high dollar assets run by professionals, but they don't do routine maintenance on equipment they rely on to earn a living? Craziness.

What an awesome video! Perhaps next time you can go into detail a little bit more about how you set the boring bar up itself and the plates you welded in order to so. I'm a little lost concerning the use of the cones. Perhaps in a video in the future you can go into detail how this was done. These videos are just absolutely awesome!
