To me, this is your best work so far. I am speechless. My day begins with this video and ends with the same. The video is carefully orchestrated to tell a story. The progression is brilliant. That Dooby tunes is so fitting. In fact, this video can be a template for anyone to cover any scenario (like taxi, takeoff, cruise and landing of any situation). Seriously, thank you!

This was a beautiful drive. I love driving through California. I've done the Rim of the World Highway up, but I've never done 330.

Love the video and music. Ever heard of Explosions in the sky. I feel like their music would fit well into this vibe

Lol. That was so random, Dude. If a road videographer is driving that, he would not worry at all about the hood showing in his camera frame.

That was amazing ! I noticed that the quality of your video improved. Is it just me ?
@AmericanRoads8 жыл бұрын
You have very sharp eyes :) What kind of improvements do you see in this video?
@FreewayFranks8 жыл бұрын
Less grainy, more neat and fluid. So it's true, you changed?
@AmericanRoads8 жыл бұрын
Freeway Franks The neatness and fluidity must have to do with the new camera. All my Grand Circle I videos were shot with my older camera, which can be quite shaky and jittery on rough roads. I have actually owned the new camera for about 1.5 years, but had not release any of its footage because I wanted to finish the Grand Circle I series first. Now that the series is done, the new camera can finally show itself off. The last two videos (Hollywood Freeway and this one) were shot with the new camera, which has a much better stabilization (same stabilization system that Jim's camera has). Besides the camera, there are a little tweaks on how the signs slide in and out of the frame, making sure their movements appear smoother.

It's great ! Thanks for the extra information. Looking forward to it :) I'm owning a Sony HDR-CX-560-V and still pretty satisfied even if it's already a 2011 :)
@AmericanRoads8 жыл бұрын
Freeway Franks Yup, your camera has an excellent stabilization for sure. And I am pretty sure I will be using my Sony HDR-PJ540 for many more years to come. By the way, Frank, whenever it is time for you to buy a new camera, get one that does not produce motion blur. It will make your footage even better.

Can you do CA-18 or CA-38
@AmericanRoads8 жыл бұрын
Maybe, is the best answer I can give you for CA-38. If you want to watch CA-18, however, please visit FreewayJim's channel. He has an excellent footage (episode 15-18) descending the Rim of the World Highway.

Your videos are too good to be uploaded only once ever 3 weeks :(

I wish I could upload more often too.. But, I am currently a full-time college student (taking 19 units this Fall semester), and being a straight-A student has to take priority for now :)
