Maybe I got lucky, I have had no problems with my xt. I learned quickly that i need to finish airing my pontoons with a compressor. my pump wouldn't get ot quite full enough If it sets overnight i need to air it up a bit but no big deal. I had problems getting it tilted. so far as customer service, jose Madira ( i believe) answered the phone and supplied me with all the information I needed. It's a great little boat. I put a 55 pound thrust Minn Kota Eudura Max on my Colorado.The boat handles it just fine. Makes a great river running rig during the King Salmon season on the Mokeloumne River in Northern California. I can go about 4 miles upstream, and have plenty of power to fish my way back to the launch ramp. I use a Group 27 marine battery with a Minn Kota Power Center battery box. Like I said,it's a great little rig!

I bought one on sale....we don’t need no stinking instructions....I RACED to remove the pump and tube, so as to close the valve without deflating. I got them pretty full...hit the water... The “port” pontoon looked low, so I opened the valve......and promptly began to sink. I dragged the boat to shore through the shallows. NOW YOU TELL ME THE VALVE SHOULD BE CLOSED WHEN INFLATING. DUH-OH! These things are great...very well designed....well made....I sent my sister one!

how do you store this for winter, do i take the air out or leave it in, it gets real cold around here in winter, do i deflate and fold them up or not??????

Thanks for the question! We recommend using a foot pump or air compressor with a cone-type nozzle fitting.

This is a very educational video I'm so glad I found it I'm having problems With inflation The video says you should air the bags up with the valve closed however with the valve closed no air goes in the bags at all I have to open the valve to air it up even when I use the adapter that comes with the Colorado XT please help me Understand what I'm doing wrong

How would I put a swivel seat on my Colorado. The seat that is on there now the bolts are too short to go the the swivel.

None of my pumps will inflate with the valve in the closed position. What am I doing wrong?

Is there a recommended size and weight of battery for the trolling motor. I am guessing 12v deep cycle battery. I am worried about the weight, I am tall and cant move the seat too far ahead to trim out the boat. Good video, Waiting on my XTS. Cheers!!

Hi Allan, Regarding trolling motors, we recommend selecting one with a maximum shaft length of 36in and maximum thrust of 30lbs. Please note that the pontoon will only support up to 400lbs of weight, which would include you, your gear, and any additional items added to the pontoon. Amazon sells a lithium deep cycle battery that only weighs 10 pounds, it is expensive but I highly recommend it sense it saves you at lest 40 to 50 pounds of weight, the cost is 345 but to me it’s well worth it and it will last longer than the acid batteries and you can run longer with it. Hope this helps

CA: may I suggest that CA make up a table to help with setting up your rowing position.....how far out the foot pegs should be for a 6’, versus 5’5”....(by inseam??).....male vs female, if significant....how far from the mid-point of the seat the oar locks should be....how far forward the seat should be set to offset the weight of motor, mount, battery....for the motor, a 200lb rower should set it 3” front of center, a 150 rower 2”, etc. I believe the ergonomic parameters are measurable. Avoid some product frustrations??

I am going to ask for help I have mobility issures I want to put a motor on my boat but do not want to reach behind me to control it so far have not seen any good ideas on this does any have any good ideas how I can modify my boat or fix this issue. Appreciate any help I can get.

Rear bag should be on the front and seat doesnt move enough foward..other then that looking good for now..

I just bought xts. I'm having so many issues I don't know what to do. And with everything going on. I can't get ahold of customer service and then when you email them you get a email back saying you have to wait 10 days for a reply. So I bought something I can't use. Because this company refuses to have customer service.

Nothing but misery since I opened the box. Nothing but problems starting with the manual that is missing some pages and has duplicates of others. Now I think I have a bad valve but I'm not sure. So much for the fishing tournament I was entered in to this week. No customer service because they are all working from home and not answering phones. My wife is a customer service operator and she is working from home and answering phones. When you send them an Email, they say that they are experiencing increased Emails due to the situation and you wont receive a reply fro 10 business days. The situation? They sell inflatable boats and patio furniture covers, why would the situation cause an increase? Are they also the command center for the CDC? I just wanted to go fishing. I wish I never bought this thing.

I have read several comments from others that the valves are notorious for slow leaks. They recommend either buying spares to be on the safe side.
