Absolutely amazing how much of that you did off camera so we couldn't see it.

I spent 45 minutes in this video for a 10 minute job and you think I'm hiding something? 🤔
@nYdGeo3 ай бұрын
@@rammtactical of course not. Just watch the video. About half of the video, what you are currently speaking of and trying to demonstrate was off camera upward. Like when you're done and you're demonstrating the trigger, all I can see is the very bottom of your hand and every bottom of the grip and the actual trigger and your finger and all that stuff is completely off screen. That's all. I guess to be fair I should have noted that it was a very informative video, I just get frustrated when I'm trying to see what you're telling me and trying to show me and I can't see it.

@@nYdGeo There are plenty of other videos to get a better detail. The Sig Guy has some that are better than mine.

Can you use the factory sear with your kit, or do you have to use the modified one you provide?
@rammtactical4 ай бұрын
Using the modified sear is what gives you the short break. Yes. You will need to use our sear.

@@rammtactical ok thank you. That decides it for me. I won’t be buying one. I wanted to just install the backplate, trigger, and takedown lever. No interest in messing with the springs or the sear in a gun I carry appendix. Sorry

@@Bryan-1980 the factory pull has a ton of creep in it. We take some of that out but maintain factory safeties. The trigger will not pull by itself. If I was that worried about carrying appendix I would add the thumb safety and call it a day.

@@rammtactical yeah, no thanks. I carry a striker fired gun with no external safety for a reason. The P320 has an available adjustable trigger with set screws in front and in back, to adjust pre and post travel. That would be a much better design than replacing 1/2 the factory parts in the fcu. Or make a kit that just replaces the trigger, takedown lever, and end cap. Or start off with a different trigger profile like the Tactical Development enhanced trigger has. You can drop that trigger in any 365 and instantly get rid of some pre travel, even if you don’t add the set screw and make any adjustments.

@@rammtactical just food for thought. Since you’re getting your own parts made, like the triggers and takedown levers, why not just reprofile the trigger angle in the shoe and make a shorter trigger bar? New trigger geometry changes angle and gets rid of over travel, new trigger bar shortens the length of pull. You can even have an adjustable set screw in the trigger shoe for added tuning. No need for a takedown lever or a backplate if it’s all measured right. You might need to back the screw out of the trigger a bit to take the slide off, but overall I think it’s worth giving a shot since you’ve obviously got access to the materials and equipment needed to make it happen.
