If you ask me then I would say the difficulty level in CA is high and time taken to complete CA is almost 5 years and if you take attempts to clear CA then you will take more then 5 years to become a CA. And I want to complete my studies as soon as possible with almost equivalent knowledge as CA, so I think ACCA is the best option. If you think that you might get attempts in clearing CA exams and also want to start working with multi-nationals soon, then go for ACCA instead of wasting time in CA.

Hi Saumil , a lot of students are facing the same predicament. My suggestion is to focus on CA or ACCA not both. If you've already registered in CA and going for its coaching it's pointless to think about anything else. However, if you have not registered or started preparing for CA, let me know. Very clear to point presentation. However when you calculate ROI, you miss out on time wasted in CA course since very few students qualify in first attempt. Most people take 5-6 yrs in completing CA course. Todays hi-tech fast age is time when people look to get multiple qualifications/credentials & skills to standout amongst crowd. Considering this CA is waste of time since it requires one to do 3 yrs articleship prior to sitting for final exams. Neither it lets students to pursue finals along with regular Bachelors. However one can pursue & complete ACCA along with Bcom/BBA program. By time student completes Bachelors he can also qualify ACCA that may add points to his CV for a job profile in Corporate and also for MBA at top school. Comparitively CA provides only single leverage of license for Tax Audit in India.

Yes you can join. But barely any employer will take you right after knowledge level. I suggest you to complete ACCA and then go for job. More salary , more opportunities and higher salary. You can join any MNC.

ACCA isn't actually easier. You may look at the pass percentages and think so, but it isn't the case. The pass percentages are skewed in favor of ACCA because if you fail in 1 subject in ACCA, you have to retake ONLY that 1 subject. But if you fail in 1 subject in CA, you have to retake the whole group

When I was 20yrs old,I started preparing for CPT Dec 2017 n passed it in 1st attempt. Now I'm 25 yrs old and I haven't passed Inter yet bcoz of my wrong strategy and casual Approach And Now I am going for Nov 2022 exam as my last attempt. Even if I pass in this last attempt of mine, then there is 3 years of Articleship period and after completing it then only I would be eligible to appear in CA Final exam and by that time I would be 29 years old. So it's impossible for me to become Ca before the Age of 30,that though if I pass CA Final in 1st attempt. Is it worth it to become a Ca at the age of 30 ? Also I am thinking about alternatives such as CFA .... Success Rate is higher

Go for CFA only if you are interested in portfolio Management or Finance I general. CFA is not easy either. However, of you are still interested in CA subjects you can go for ACCA as well. You can target to become ACCA by 27 and you might get job opportunities even before clearing it. To further reduce your time you can go for courses like CMA USA. If at all you want to go for CA later , you can go with the direct entry route. Don't worry you are not the only one I yesterday got a call where a 30 year old was still giving his CA inter. CA is a good course but you need to check your priorities. If you want to start your career in the next 2 years then forget CA. This is me being as direct as possible.

By completing your CA Intermediate, you will get around 6 exemptions. In ACCA you can work alongside your studies or after you clear your ACCA . I suggest you to do after as local experience will not count in MNCs.

It's definitely not easy its almost at par with CA but comparatively it is slightly easier. And for the expenses i would say about 5-7 lakhs.. it depends on in how many attempts you clear your exams.

Both are good courses, ACCA takes lesser time, costs less and relatively easy to clear! The choice is upto you.

Sir i have only 4 years with me to do any course currently completed my baf and planning to go for acca rather than ca bcoz ca consume more time i live in mumbai and i m good at studies but have no experience in corporate world and my english is weak 🤦‍♂️ what should I go for ca Or acca? And i also heard even in big 4 ca is always preferred over acca, is it true plzz let me know I m confused😅 yss acca scope is developing in india but jobs for acca is less and passing rates in acca is more which leads to umemployment nd also people opt ca + acca i also visited job prtal where they preferred ca and it would be better if u re ca + acca so should is it gr8 to be only an acca

Big 4 does not differentiate between CA , ACCA and CPA as the firms signing the balance sheet for Big4s are Indian firms. Infact all the Big4s also have a international client servicing department where only ACCA and CPAs are hired. As far as jobs are concerned, during the Covid 19 times supply > demand in every profession, even in CA and even when job openings appear, they are filled within hours of posting according to a survey by Naukri.com and Linkedin. The choice is really upto you. Work on your skills like English speaking, effective communication, financial awareness etc. It doesn't matter you do CA, ACCA or CPA if your skills are weak, you will not get a desired job.

Sir I am banking professional working in canara bank as a clerk posted in varanasi.I want to persue acca becauas of two reasons firstly it is a international course and secondly mou signed between acca and cma india that some exemptions would be provided in cma india because i have registered for cma india but unable to persue due to its toughness. Plz guide me in this regard

You can pursue ACCA but rest assured it is not easy but convinient to clear. You can also look at FRM if you want to work in credit risk department of a bank.
