CA itself provides lot of knowledge about finance and the ICWA syllabus is not much different from CA. Doing ICWA has no much value addition. Doing CIA,CFE courses will be the niche for Forensic Aspect of examining fraud as well as the Internal Auditing.

From Core Finance perspective CFA is far better than CA. In CA, the subject like FM at inter level & SFM at final teach finance topic from a Question solving approach. Whereas in CFA you get a in depth knowledge of finance from a practical point of view. PS: I am also a CA Student!

My son had cleared CFA level 1,2 & 3 all in first attempt while working in the banking sector. In India. no one care about CFA certification. He is now SVP, but with no use of this certification . So don't waste your valuable time on certification. Earn skills and sharp your logical reasoning.

Not really! Many companies which are mandatorily required to appoint a whole time CS prefer candidates with CA/ CMA with CS, rather than hiring 2 separate professionals, so pursuing CA/ CMA with CS definitely adds value to the company and the professional

FYI only members in practice can sign any kind of reports (tax/ secretarial/ cost audit as the case may be), so such professionals can choose to practice only one profession at a time even if they have qualified 2 or more courses, but that's not the case in employment. I personally know many professionals with two or more qualifications heading two or more departments.
