Apart from that she would work as house help earning merely Rs 300/month (5000-6000 in today's terms). Today I earn over 1.2 lakh/month. My father is the 3rd youngest among 4 brothers and the only one who was able to make a life in the state capital.a GOOD and respectable life where his kids enjoy a status of an upper middle class family and get the best quality education. No luck pure hardwork. My baba (granddad) was in army. All three of his brothers dropped out of their education at some stage. My papa literally pulled himself out of dirt in the middle of nowhere in this north western state where kids in the village STILL look forward to driving tractors than fuckin study. But it is for sure luck for me that I was born to him and not in my uncle's families. Not that my cousins are living bad lives. But my dad's doing the best in all of my extended family. he became a CA and is a CFO as of now. I have many complaints from my parents on the emotional and mental side of things but I will NEVER tell this to them only because I know of what shit my papa had to endure and reach where he is. I think he doesn't deserve his daughter telling him that he lacks in emotional EQ after all of that and it's OK. Nobody's perfect. My goal currently is to continue his legacy and hopefully be able to reach the same financial status he is now at half his age, because I was provided with all the resources and am basically handed things on a platter. Hopefully i don't disappoint (myself) my goals also far exceed only financial stability and I want to be able to take my parents for foreign vacations.

@@sardarji162 I will approach things differently now than how I did in 90s, first thing, if you are not studying in IIT, IIM or any other prestigious institutions where you get campus placement then you should take the easiest course to graduate college so you will have time to work full time. To find a job that pays well to undergrads you will need to have strong communication skill if not then start practicing from now, if not confident in speaking in english or giving interviews in english then buy a "Wren and Martin" and read it twice at least. Then start posting your resume to job sites and show interest in all types of work. Back in my days outsourcing was on boom so I started working in call centers and later moved to captive units. Best of working these organisations were that my work experience would accumulate and I would get salary as per my experience if not then I would bargain with HR once I knew I was selected.

I was lucky enough to study in very good schools, and my parents had the means to send me to the college I wanted and support the degree I wished for. The whole logic of vague.. India has a 34% middle class population & it's the fastest growing in the world. Extreme poverty has almost diminished. The problem with this country is that it produces almost negligible numbers of entrepreneurs. They always depend on the govt. Govt employees don't even make 5% of the total population. Rich are getting richer doesn't mean poor aren't having increase in income slabs. India needs more billionaires to create jobs. Until India becomes a upper middle class economy it will be like that only. It's the same story for more or less every developing nation.

My grandfather was a TC in railway and built us a home, gave my dad a great launch pad but he wasted it all and put us in lower middle class situation similar to Devanand ji by being too lazy to work. We used to survive on 5k pension my grandfather used to get & later my mom had to start working as a private teacher for ~5k more. She told me only way out of this situation is my education. Luckily my coaching teachers saw my potential and gave me a nearly 100% scholarship (it wasn't one of the most famous institutes in the city but it was quite decent and cheapest after this). I was able to crack JEE due to their support and I'm earning >$300K in USA now. It resonated a lot when you said talent, opportunities and resources need to come together to jump classes which truly was the case with me.

My uncle was auto driver but had only one daughter, aunt also worked The daughter went to govt aided school, got a decent college in govt Karnataka CET quota and now her package might be 40Lpa So priorities matter in many ways This couple could have had children but they chose to have a child and help her with everything
@speeddemon29013 ай бұрын
You are treating a child as an investment.... But like any investment there is ultimately a probabilistic outcome tagged with it. What you cited as an example is a edge case that worked. Did you even watch the video. The stats was talked about.

The real reason Europeans occupy all of North America, South America, Australia, and New Zealand, controlling almost 50% of the world's area and natural resources. That's why other countries' people do how much hard work they still can't earn money equal to Europeans Top 50 richest country in gdp per capita Are European country or oil country Now some will give example of japan korea taiwan There countries become rich by becoming +SS-lllaa+ave of America(European) These countries give military base, foreign policy to America in exchange America give them prosperity money,aid, technology transfer, factory set-up etc For example Taiwan is small island country with population of 10 million But still taiwan is rich Because of semiconductor How semiconductor come in Taiwan? Because of USA RCA (Radio Corporation of America) set up its semiconductor factory in Taiwan in: *1966* (initially as a joint venture) *1970* (as a wholly-owned subsidiary, RCA Taiwan Ltd.)

followed Bhagwan Krushn formula: 1) Leave the place, go to Poland from Sub Saharan Africa 2) Leave the unproductive traditions, forget about social limitations of your caste, religion or gender 3) Whatever happens stay away from bad influence, be it people or addictions My non-education parents have simplest formula: 4) Never leave Maths and English if you want to get out of this lower middleclass mud pond (their exact words). All above things became luck for me in my journey. Changed the city, never left Maths or English, met good people and eventually they helped me to get out of Bermuda triangle of lower middleclass.
