I introduced this song to my former boss during the height of COVID - work team was putting together a song playlist. He said he really really loved this song. He told us shortly after he had cancer, and recently passed away last November of 2021. I like to believe he thought of these lyrics as a reflection of his life and his wife... "...looking back over my life, spent the most of it tongue tied.... I wish I had more time, listening to you speak your mind... thinking bout her everyday on my mind atypical way....are you a life force?" He was an amazing boss but more of a friend than anything. He was a great leader and I miss him. I always think about him every time I hear this song. You never know when you'll lose a friend. RIP Terry

I was trying the most absurd of things like typing "all songs that have the word day in them" into Google (because that was the only word that stuck with me), shazaming every little section that I remembered, listening to random playlists on Spotify hoping this song would be in there etc. I ultimately failed and gave up after several weeks or months, while occasionally going back to it. Last Monday, this song came on the radio, while I was driving to practice and I immediately knew this was the song I was looking for. Feels so good to finally be here.

My 24 yo child, who I brought to every live music event I attended since a 5 yo, sent her momma this new song/band to discover. The past did her well. She is excited to see you 11/2 in Missoula. I'd love to go but it is a bit of a drive from the east coast. I will look out for your migration eastward while I enjoy the new discovery. Very nice musical magic:)

A great day to listen to this song. In hard times comes peace of mind listening to comforting music. Sometimes some songs will just transcend time. This song will definitely be one for me. ❤️
