I grew up in England, where music is electronic. I moved to the USA (Ohio) in my early 20's and was introduced to blue grass, country (the real shit, not pop), folk, Americana etc. When first heard this album, I wasn't so sure. Fucking love it now, and my 1-year-old daughter jams the fuck out.

Everytime I put this song on I think of a girl I met at a festival this summer. Being with her that night, the look in her eyes that made my world stop and my buddy cheering behind her back when he saw us walking to the camp together is the stuff I will never forget. We ended up falling asleep in the backseat of my old car having the most enjoyable uncomfortable sleep ever. Never felt this way before. I knew we had a really good thing but blew it somehow. Terrible timing and bad decisions. No right way to get back to her heart now. What remains is a memory I will cherish dearly regardless of how it ended up. But damn, I would love to be taken back to the start.

One of my biggest mistakes, my wife and I were headed to a festival in Iowa to see Caamp. We left plenty early. I decided to take an earlier exit to the festival grounds than we had in the past. We got hung up in traffic forever. We only got to hear Caamp do one song. So bummed. We both love Caamp and we’ll see them sometime but they were the band I really wanted to see at that festival.
