Excellent work! You took that cab from sad to superb. You give me lots of good ideas. Looking forward to seeing the heater mod/install.

Hi! You have some great videos , thanks for doing it! I ordered a rear view camera thanks to you , can't wait to install it. My request is if you could put up a small video showing you putting the front cab panel up with your new handles and also how you keep it raised while working under the hood. Thanks again for sharing your experience! Don

Great job on your videos as I have watched them all. I just purchased a used femcoe cab and it has the same heater in it as yours . Would it be possible for you to steer me in the right direction for a dual speed fan switch and where to get a master switch panel for my lights? Keep up the great work 👍 cheers!

Glad you enjoy the videos, thanks! Those Femcoe cabs look very nice, so good luck with it. I was able to use the fused switch panel that came with the cab, but also added the secondary one which I purchased from Amazon for less than $30. It is very nice and works well and could be a good choice for your cab. If necessary you could stack two together. Here is a link: www.amazon.com/dp/B07M9X7N74/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_tafcGbYWNCY01 Also, if I remember correctly, the heater is already wired for two speeds, so you should just need a two-way-on rocker switch. Also plenty of options on Amazon.

Hi Tesser a great review as always. On my 420 air cooled I'm going to try to figure out a coil to go around my muffler and heat pure antifreeze that way then run a heater inside like yours. A small reservoir will be needed fo antifreeze hood. Not sure if it will work. See ya later
@tesser52505 жыл бұрын
Clever idea! Hope it works. I guess it will also need a pump to circulate coolant fluid...
@robertduncan27425 жыл бұрын
@@tesser5250 I was thinking about a pump that pulses if there's anything like it. My feet gets cold even with boots and heavy socks so well see what happens. Great job again and I've learned pointers on my cab from yours

I know you replied 2 years ago but I just came across your comment did you ever think about using the heat from the muffler like you're saying but make a steal you like the Moonshiners but you're running antifreeze I have a John Deere gt275 and I can run a copper coil around this Muffler into a heater core from like a car I'd have to pick up some kind of water pump that could take Heat you know something like a windshield washer fluid pump but more of a high volume just some ideals take care

What made you decide to put the cab on the 425 vs the 445 or 455 ? Just curious
@tesser52505 жыл бұрын
That's a fair question. I normally keep the LB Loader and toothbar on the 445 with the Ag tires, figuring the extra couple of hp helps with the heavier work. So the 425 gets used for mowing and clearing snow and hence gets the cab. Also, with the larger tires I fitted to the 425, as covered in another video, it rides and runs like my 445, anyway. Thanks for your interest.
