Would you be interested in selling your used take off tires

I did mine years ago. I'm trying to remember. I think it was a 15#, 4" stroke, weatherproof mini actuator. I fabbed up brackets on the back of the discharge chute and spout to mount it to so I wouldn't have a load on the side of the chute. I had to figure out the geometry to size the brackets and clearances.. Not too hard. Everything is attached with pop rivets to keep smooth surface for snow to pass over. Hard wired to a two way rocker switch on the dash and to battery, all enclosed in loom to protect the low voltage wiring. I have a two pin connector between the blower and tractor for when I take the blower off in the spring. There's an easily accessible inline fuse holder there too. I was blowing 2 amp fuses. I think I have a 5 amp fuse in there now. Sometimes it would freeze from moisture. I use a hair drier to thaw it out and I'm back in business. Good investment to do it. Getting off the tractor to change the angle of the spout is b.s.

Thanks that looks exactly like what I dream of i thought I had 1 off idea nope lol. I just bought a 425 and this right here will definitely be my next purchase. I bet that thing could get you out of mud to if you got stuck and have a cumalong. I would love to see your scraper blade for that i have a scraper blade i can't find any info on it. Its not box scraper blade its just blade on 3pt hitch. Its yellow kinda looks like cub cadet yellow. I guess they all are interchangeable. Very cool set up.

For those of you who are contemplating doing this mod there is one bug that most people overlook. Them two bolts that are in the slots? You don't need them. They are there when using a knob to set. Blowers that use a rod in the back don't have these bolts. The chutes have a hinge and that's plenty strong. Plus the extra bolts cause needless friction. And remember, the closer the actuator is to the pivot point of the hinge, the less stroke you will need. And as an example, if you reduce the distance by half, you will double the speed. The price you pay for speed is increased effort which means you will need to double the force. Trial and error is the best way to figure out which distance is optimal. An easy way to find the distance is to have the actuator bolt to a small plate (with a threaded hole) where you screw the bolt not pass the thickness of the plate and temporarily hot glue the plate to different positions.

Another thing that will cause a non start is the ignition delay module, it allows the engine to to run after it shuts off to burn off the excess fuel in the combustion chamber. The ignition delay module is external wired in down near the starter motor. I have replaced both the PTO switch and the ignition delay module, for separate non-starters. People who own these old machines should consider replacing them two parts just as general maintenance before they fail.

good alternative to the factory loafer. especially if you plan to add the enclosed cab. won't fit with factory loader.

That axle needs to be further back. I don’t like the engineering of that dump trailer, needs to dump higher.

425 have no electronic fuel pump, they are naturally aspirated hence the choke lever the 445 & 455 electronic fuel injection electric fuel pumps don't have. don't pressure wash the rats next between the radiator screen and the electronics & wiring in the console stand. things short out easier. the rats build nests right there on the electronics that stay warm with the battery connection. they can build a full nest in a week. the babies being liquid mass also short out things. i found using a leaf blower never has resulted in this problem in my 1996 445 as well as my 2001 aws 445. thanks for the video.

I decided not to put a loader on my 420. It's tough for a little garden tractor, but I don't think i want to abuse it this much. I built a loader using an F10 loader mounted on a truck many years ago. It was turned around so that the weight was on the rear axle. We used that loader every day to feed cattle and do other work. It had a Turbo Hydramatic (automatic) transmission with a 3 speed "Brownie" transmission because of the large industrial tires on it. With the Power Steering and Power Brakes it was easy to operate.

Good Video. I mount lifting forks on my Little Bucket Loader on my John Deere 455. When I lift something and move around the bucket tilts which then the load slides off the forks. Would installing this valve stop it from tilting? I appreciate any help you could give me.
