Aarau, chef-lieu du canton d’Argovie dans le Mittelland, est situé sur l’Aar qui a donné son nom aussi bien à la ville qu’au canton.
Tout à fait charmante, la vieille ville peut se flatter d’avoir les plus beaux avant-toits peints de Suisse, appelés « Dachhimmel ».
Arth-Goldau, dans le canton de Schwyz, situé entre les lacs de Zoug et de Lauerz, est le point de départ de la montée au Rigi ou d’une croisière sur le lac de Zoug.
Le célèbre parc animalier est situé sur le cône de l’immense éboulement de Goldau.
Et n’oublions pas qu’Arth-Goldau est un nœud de communication important sur la ligne ferroviaire du Gothard.
Aarau, Hauptort des Kantons Aargau im Schweizer Mittelland liegt am Fluss Aare, dem Stadt und Kanton auch ihre Namen verdanken.
Die reizvolle Altstadt kann sich der schönsten bemalten Dachuntersichten der Schweiz, der so genannten «Dachhimmel», rühmen.
Arth-Goldau, der Schwyzer Doppelort zwischen Zuger- und Lauerzersee, ist Ausgangsort für die Fahrt auf die Rigi oder für eine Zugersee-Schifffahrt.
Auf dem Schuttkegel des riesigen Felssturzes befindet sich heute der bekannte Tierpark Goldau.
Nicht zuletzt ist Arth-Goldau wichtiger Bahnknotenpunkt an der Gotthardlinie.
