This journey leads us along the Salzburg-Tyrol Railway from the city of Wörgl to Schwarzach St. Veit. The Salzburg-Tyrol Railway (German: Salzburg-Tiroler-Bahn) is a main-line railway in Austria. It runs through the states of Salzburg and Tyrol (North Tyrol) from the city of Salzburg to Wörgl and belongs to the core network (Kernnetz) of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).
The standard gauge line runs along the Salzach valley, the Bischofshofen hub being of particular importance as the junction with the Enns Valley Railway to Selzthal in Styria. At the Wörgl terminus, the Salzburg-Tyrol Railway meets the Lower Inn Valley Railway running from the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck to the German border at Kufstein and the Deutsches Eck transport link.
It is also known as the Gisela Railway (Giselabahn), after Archduchess Gisela of Austria, the second daughter of Emperor Franz Joseph I and his wife Elisabeth.

I highly recommend Franz-Josefs-Bahn as a route to film on this channel. (Wien FJB - Gmünd) Whenever I go to Vienna I really enjoy the ride. Speed limit is like 70-140 km/h. On this route is also region Waldviertel with beautiful nature. And this video was so good 👍🙂

Eine beeindruckende Reise an einem Sonntagmorgen im Frühling auf einer wunderschönen Alpenbahn, der Giselabahn, auch Salzburg-Tiroler Bahn genannt, die Westösterreich mit dem Rest des Landes verbindet. Beeindruckend ist der herrliche Blick auf das Kaisergebirge bei Kitzbühel. - Ein Insert ist aber nicht richtig: bei Minute 01:10:50 handelt es sich NICHT um die Berchtesgadner Alpen, sondern um das Steinerne Meer im Salzburger Land (davor ist es richtig angegeben). - An impressive journey on a Sunday morning in spring on a beautiful Alpine railway, the Gisela Railway, also called the Salzburg-Tyrol Railway, which connects western Austria with the rest of the country. The wonderful view of the Emperor Mountains near Kitzbühel is impressive. - But one insert is incorrect: at minute 01:10:50 it is NOT about the Berchtesgaden Alps (in Germany), but about the Steinernes Meer ("Stony Sea") in the Salzburger Land (before that it is stated correctly). - Un viaje impresionante una mañana de domingo de primavera en un precioso ferrocarril alpino, el Ferrocarril Gisela, también llamado Ferrocarril Salzburgo-Tirol, que conecta el oeste de Austria con el resto del país. Just imagine the whole world went on a bizarre destruction of some sorts, war, natural disaster whatever, and you and all other passangers on the train are alive, no one else on the planet exists but you don't know as yet, you are travelling but every town, village your train passes thru you don't see another human, dead or alive and you finally arrive at your destination. There's nothing, no one, just you and the fellow passangers. You will: a) investigate the town/city you got off b) get back on the train and go back to where you came from c) get into the driving seat of the train and yell ''finally!'' (yes this was meant to be funny in a dark way) :p

I can't help but ask one more question. Towards the end of the video, there are several sections where the second (oncoming) track is interrupted. Is it damage to the track or is it unfinished?
