Veo que lo importante es dar el servicio,y saber que está ahí,no lo ven como negocio y eso es excelente,ojalá tener eso aquí en República Dominicana donde el transporte público,no es público sino negocio privado

Don't if it's my impression, at 5.54 min when the lady uncarefully open the door of his car the tram driver say "attenta a te!"(hey you, pay attention!) in italian?

@ 21: 02 and 24:44 can someone explain how this works. The tram is on the left line and enters the merging switch point with the open-ended rail .....
@CharlsonS4 жыл бұрын
The points simply get knocked into the needed position when the tram runs over it
@strassenbahntk4 жыл бұрын
It's called a spring switch or trailable turnout. The switch gets pushed by the wheel flanges when the train runs over it. Then it gets pulled back by a mechanism involving a spring and a dashpot. A very old and very basic railway feature often used on loops like these.
@roboftherock Жыл бұрын
@@strassenbahntk In these locations it is a big lump of metal on the switch lever which returns it to its normal position.

Very scenic video but you should have deleted all the nonstop talking by the operator. Very annoying.
@truckdriver19822 жыл бұрын
Then it would just be silent or with music? I like hearing the sound from the tram and rails :)
@roboftherock Жыл бұрын
Why on earth would you want to NOT have the ambient sound of the driver's cab? That's a major part of these videos. And if the driver is having a good old chinwag, why should we complain? Perhaps because you/we don't speak the language.

It is indeed interesting to listen to his comments in the local colour of say southern Tirolean tongue ... and funny enough seemingly people have a tendency to ignorance towards good sense everywhere .. which obviously makes landfall with any professional driver in particular . his colleague also said it would not hurt him too much cutting off a door but there was a lot of paperwork involved :)

@@martinfurtner2136 I appreciate your sensitivity towards my comment. Still, I wrote "say" (sagen wir einmal ...) and "southern" (as opposed to 'South') and secundo was it just my lead into the main object of my observations. I allow myself tertius to pick up your lecturing tone and suggest reading other peoples thoughts thoroughly before shooting. It might feel 'annoying' to them.
