Lovely! When was this film made? I've been looking for footage that shows Marcelle playing. My prayers are answered.... Since she died in 1958, and was born in 1897, I guess this must have been made somewhere around 1956-ish at age 59?...too short a life.

@Peter Rabbit , So this is a vignette done in an old style representing Marcelle Meyer with a pianist actress?..playing Marcelle Meyer.(???) . I noticed she didn't look the same, and not old enough, even if filmed in the 1950's plus the decor doesn't look like that belonging to the period. What was this for? and why the black and white silent film marque seemingly from the 1920's.. Weird piece of video then... Peter who are You?

American, here,.. of course my French is poor, credits seem to list people not in the film, for instance Eric Satie's music is there but, does this mean Philippe Nesme is playing the music, and there appear to be no text's, and no painters (peintre) , and does this mean the project is by Carmen Martinez Pierret or the actress playing the part? and who is Denise Snodgrasse.... Not quite sure this portrayal matches the real Marcelle. This lady appears such an affected, elite type. OK I remain in ignorance. I think one needs to know some idioms of French to catch the whole drift here. i'm probably misunderstanding what i think i understand.
