So good to see smooth camera work and fine use of a tripod being used to capture these marvelous rail miniatures - good use of sound also. And, it doesn't outstay its welcome.

I have an n scale layout, and want a g scale outdoor railway. My n scale turns are 11.25 radius and I saw some g scale turns that were 30. I don’t understand how the radius works. What’s sharper? The 11.25 or the 30?
@MrPictovid2 жыл бұрын
30 would be larger than 11.25. Be careful however when looking at G gauge track as most is specified as Diameter rather than radius like the smaller scales.

Are there wider curves in G scale a Big Boy operating on short curves like that don't look good. Just an observation. Good video nonetheless. Have a great weekend everyone

They definitely make much larger curves. Those are the curves the owner had to work with though.

@@MrPictovid just asking are there diaphragms for G scale passenger cars. To fill in for that big gap between cars?
@MrPictovid3 жыл бұрын
There are diaphragms but no working ones that I'm aware of.

Would this train be in scale with 1/18th scale gi joe figures?
@MrPictovid2 жыл бұрын
The trains for the most part are all 1/29 scale so 1/18 G.I. Joe's would be a bit big.

Nice layout! What radius curves did you use for the Big Boy?
@MrPictovid3 жыл бұрын
10 foot diameter curves

Where did you get the y6, I am guessing? Is there a site that has these train models to buy? Also great video.
