I have a 6 man model. Just got back from a week in the Black Hills. It withstood 40+mph winds with no issues. We also had wind and rain with no moisture inside. It was very comfortable for two of us. I wish I had taken my Mr. Buddy heater.

That is awesome Adam. These truly are rugged tents with lots of comfort. Like Tom said they are not for hiking in anywhere, they are very heavy, so they are a solid basecamp tent. Mr. Buddy heaters are the best. We use them regularly. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

The story goes like this: I was camping in it when we got hit with 2ft of snow. Handled it with no issues. I then got the flu and was unable to take the tent down when we got hit with another 2ft storm and when I came back to check on it the weight of the additional snow calapsed the tent breaking a couple of the aluminum poles and piercing the tent, I was devastated.

Hi! Thanks for the review. Aside from Snow storms, what other weather conditions can't this tent handle?
@northeastoutdooradventures3787 Жыл бұрын
So the tent will handle certain amount of snow but when you have almost 4 ft of snow with no shoveling off of the tent it's going to fold doesn't matter what tent it is. I've had this tent in heavy rains, high winds, lots of snow and it can take a beating for sure. Thank you so much for the question hope this helps

It's too bad that tent doesn't have a stove jack. Then it would be a great 4 season tent.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be setting this tent back up and doing another video on how I run heat, gear that I bring for the interior and a three day campout. Stay tuned this may peak your interest, and thanks again for the feedback and watching the video, we really appreciate it. 😁😁😁😁

That tent is enormous! 🤩 Great review! How does it hold up in the winter with lots of snow?
@northeastoutdooradventures3787 Жыл бұрын
Yes, it is enormous. Tons of room for several people and all their gear. Tom can speak more about how it holds up in the snow. This is his tent, but it is not his first. His first one did not survive a snowstorm.

Would four cots fit in this tent? Family of four?
@northeastoutdooradventures3787 Жыл бұрын
Great question hopefully I can answer that for you. I use an extra extra large cot put out by Cabela's and it takes up quite a lot of room so I guess it's really going to depend on the size of the cots. Take a couple minutes and go to our Channel and I have more videos with more insight on the interior and exterior. One of the videos is a three-day camp out with that tent. And the other one is I set the tent up on a lake with more footage of the interior and exterior (2023 fishing video). Maybe that'll give you more insight and I hope this helps we just got back from a trip where we've spent 14 days in that tent we absolutely love that tent it rained 60% of the time and absolutely no water got in that tent. It is very roomy, again hope this helps good luck and take care. 😄😄😄😄😄

Thanks!! I will check those out. 40" x 85" cots. We could take one or two down during the day.

I wish....I had the aluminum poles and they broke, splintered and tore holes throughout the tent, I was heart broken.

Nice tents but lose or damage the rain fly your s.o.l can't get one so tent is useless
