Really love your videos! I am an ex- cabin crew of your airline. It's been 5 years now since Ieft the airline and Doha which I considered as my 2nd home. I really miss flying and just like you I would have some difficulties to find the disadvantages of being a flight attendant. I would rather call them challenges because they shape your thinking, your personality and help you be better. I am now working in the fashion industry and looking back at the 5 years spent in the airline I can say that these were the best of my life so far... There is never going to be a better company or a better job than a flight attendant in my book! Wish you all the best and keep up the good work! ❤

Hi Ms. Kath! Thank you for inspiring me. I start to watch your videos kahapon lang since my best friend who is currently working in the USA told me that he wants to work in an airline industry. Relate ako sa cons of being a Cabin Crew. I’m not a cabin crew but I’m currently working in a hotel industry for a year and masasabi ko na lahat ng cons ninyo napagdaanan ko din. I work for long hours even long days na hindi ko na namamalayan na 11 days na pala ako nagwowork and malayo yung day off ko. Then, yung health ko which is true naman. When I started to work in a hotel na, I got sick and thank God hindi severe yung sakit ko, it’s just mild coughs and colds. Yung mga special events and holidays talaga need mong pumasok unless nagrequest ka nang matagal para maapprove. Naexperience kong umiyak sa inis, sa anxiety, sa mga hateful comments ng mga nasa paligid ko and still nagsusurvive pa rin ako sa work ko. If you want to be successful in life, you need to have long patience and humility. 😊❤️ I’m not dreaming to become a cabin crew before dahil napaka overrated when I took up BS Travel Management. And then, I realize na maganda din pala ang benefits. Puro cons yung nakikita ko of being Cabin Crew and now, I try my very best although hindi ako pasok ang height and weight ko. Hindi pa naman huli ang lahat and it’s not about the looks but how to handle yourself and from the experiences that you learn. 😊 God bless Ms. Kath. More tutorials and advices. ❤️

Hi ashley! Thank you for the wonderful comment. I figured that the reason why this video is getting lesser views than the advantages, is that aspirants are a bit scared to know the downsides. But, like what i said in the video it's better that you are prepared before jumpimg into the water. Hi Ms. Kath!❤ I've been watching your videos ever since I decided to apply for an internal vacancy for cabin crew post. (Still waiting to get called for interview) Anyway, I'm worrying about my skin kasi konting puyat pinipimples na agad ako coming from white heads and I know the air in the aircraft can be very dry and may take a toll on my skin. I'm pimple-prone but for most days my skin's okay; nothing a concealer can't fix.haha My question though is, do flight attendants still have the time to go to the derma for facials etc.?

Raine Bow hi Raine! Thank you! Now let’s get t your questions isa isahin natin. I didn’t really need to ask for approval kasi matagal na ako sa company. It was like letting them know that I am getting married and will be changing my status soon. Wala naman ako na feel at that time hehe I just wrote a letter to them. 😉 I managed to survive kasi like what I said I always look on the positive side of life. Madaming tao ang nahihirapan to look for a job but I have one na super ok. Kapag may mga negative people I stay away and I sometimes ask them “why are you still here then?” More often than not hindi sila makasagot. Hehe. And when sakin na mismo nangagaling ang negativity, i have my my fiance, family and friends whom I can vent out to. After I vent out ok na ako and lipad na uli 😁Having a solid support system is super important. XOXO

Flight attendant job isn’t that awesome, your just like a housemaid on the aircarft, serving people dirty foods, (yes foods on airolanes are dirty, that’s why i don’t eat nor drink coffee when im on board) you have to post a fake smile to annoying people... you will hate especially those passenger who are awake all throughout the flight examples of british/german people, who keep asking food, snack, coffee, wine,etc. complaining about the whole flight... this is not a dream job. So why people still need to brag about having these job.
