This video brings me back. When my grandfather was alive he had a work shop out back, a little bigger though. Enough room for an L shaped work bench, table saw, bench grinder and a desk. The wall paper was old Playboy centerfolds, and he always had a supply of hardwood chunks for the wood stove. It was an old barn with old lead lined glass windows, and towering Ash trees acting as corner supports. He taught me to shoot from the back door, he taught me to measure, and he taught me how to tie fishing knots on the workbench of the 'hermit hut' as my grandmother called it. He passed away 8 years ago now, and the old hermit hut came down last year. Thank you for bringing back those old great memories.

Thank you for the videos. I have to tell you that I really look forward to seeing your adventures. I also have to say that you are my #1 inspiration. Couple years ago I started " following my dreams" to live a more sustainable and self sufficient life with my wife and children. I chose to work "toward my dream" (as you say) in everything I do, instead of waiting until retirement. I'm 35 now and well on my way. Your videos have changed my entire outlook on life. I'm loving my homestead and living the dream. Thank you and please keep the videos coming!

+thebossoftheswamp : I've often thought that your youTube videos are so much better than the junk that's on TV. They find a formula and keep churning out the same show, over and over and they invent "drama" so they can hook the viewer into sitting thru 10 minutes of commercials. Boss, I'd honestly sit thru an hour of commercials for 10 minutes of one of your masterpieces.
