I will try boss! I fell into a spot fishing walleye's on opening weekend by chance. Up where my friend Jeff takes me in Lisbon it takes a better boat than I have so I jump on board with him when he has room but I will let you know if something comes up! Maybe this summer if you wanna make the trip down I can take you down the Indian River fishing bass and pike. You will love it down there. Also if you wanna come down and get some leeks you can too!

Nice job on the emergency toilet, I used to have one. I bought a camping toilet when I was driving cross country which came in handy when I was on the back roads far from a bath room. I would line the bucket with a cheap trash bag, I also had one of those long and narrow funnels (like the one you would put automatic transmission fluid in with), I would put the funnel into a empty water bottle and pee into the other end that would keep things separate, and easier to dispose of. worked out well for me. So JC you could dig a deep hole next to the bath room and place a 5 gallon bucket with a lot of small holes drilled all around the bottom half of the bucket, place some gravel in the hole put the bucket in with more gravel around it, then put a pipe up into the bath room wall with a flex able hose with a transmission funnel on it, make it long enough to reach your toilet. Then bury the rest of the bucket. Problem solved, LOL ,now you don't have to have two toilet seats LOL The bucket serves as a small septic tank and it will work guaranteed. Until next time Bud

+Bud and Bess I don't use two toilet seats. Yes I suppose there's a million ways to achieve the task but this toilet works great the way it is. I dump it when it needs to be dumped. It don't get any simpler than that :-)

On your sawdust toilet, you could put a piano hinge on the front of the sawdust section and attach it to the lid. then when you open the lid, it would swing forward and hang down the front...

Good concept but I think the lid would have to be as wide as the front is tall for that to work. With some tweaking that could be accomplished :-)

Wow! Just wow! Love the bathroom! A friend bought a house recently with rustic pine cabinets in the kitchen that were just gorgeous. She hated them, TORE them down and put up some fancy dark wood things! Ugh. I couldn't believe she actually tore down those cabinets instead of at least selling them. They were in good shape too. If I had a place to store them I would've taken them.

I built a beautiful pine bathroom vanity and medicine cabinet for a lady years ago. I hand picked wood with lots of character for it. I came back a few weeks after installing it do do other work and found she painted them industrial gray like you see on concrete floors. ......................................................wtf? :-O Never again.
