That’s awesome! Lots of new places being built over here too, but very few are used as anything other than camps. Maybe 4-6 year round homes. Seen a few come, and go, just since 2015. Everyone wants to be off grid, at first.

Nice cabin Dave. What size is it and what pitch is your roof? Did you insulate the roof directly under the metal? Im planning to build me one soon. You are a big help to me. Thanks

Thanks! I haven't insulated yet. At first I was gonna do a non vented roof and spray foam, but too expensive. So gonna do a vented roof and either fiberglass or rockwool as I can afford it. Something called duravent (foam vent channel) goes on directly onto plywood underneath between rafters and then insulation over that. Good luck with your build.
