I live in an off grid cabin tent from Davis Tents in the north woods of Maine! Let me give you a tour!

For a fiedl expedient shower, get a pump style garden sprayer, but get one bigger than the normal one gallon. Fill with water at the temp you like, soak, soap, rinse

I’m not sure what you mean by “last?” Canvas is naturally waterproof. I’ve had these tents 2 yrs now - no mold, no holes, no leaks. Unless a tree falls on it and punctures it, or you leave it vacant during a snow storm and the weight of the snow causes it to collapse and tear, the tents will last

Shoot what down? Having a tent? In Maine, you apply for a campsite permit and a permit for the outhouse. My dad and I just got our building permit and are excited to begin building the log home this summer!

It already survived one winter :) I head back to camp at the end of this month so we’ll see how it did for 2 winters. We get 100 pounds per square foot of snow in our area

She’s a Norwegian elkhound, and similar to huskies they like to wander. I’ve done a lot of training with her, and she has pretty excellent recall, But if one of the other camp owners is walking their dog down the logging road sometimes she’ll take off, and I don’t want there to be any fights because not all of my neighbors have friendly dogs. For her safety, I typically keep her on a leash unless I know there’s no one else around.

there's a camp in BC forest with these types of canvas tents on platform all set apart and facing a lake, with a log cabin as a dining room. very posh so beautiful.

The tents are very comfortable! Honestly once we finish the cabin, I think I’m going to miss staying in the tent lol

I actually study fashion and have made several. Although they are not the classic “Indian chief” style, since that’s a specific garment with a specific purpose. I hope to get some video of upcoming photo shoots and include them in my vlogs. I like to use the nature around me to capture beauty in fashion whenever possible :)
