Vacation rentals are a LOT different than long term rentals...people do Not have time enough to get too comfy in a vacation rental. Yes, there is the exception but for the majority of the time...

Full occupancy rentals can be a headache if you don't keep really close tabs on well referenced tenants, but this is short term rental property. More like a fancy cabin in the woods rented by the night or week. I have rented a place out for over 30 years and had the place somewhat trashed (took more than a week to clean and repair) only twice. Most of the people were really nice, and some have remained friends even after they moved out. You've got to be picky when you are a landlord, but never lose your "nice."

I so love this cabin. I want a similar home. Floor plan's great too. More importantly, it's a small house. I love small houses with smart floor plans and use of space.

It is a masculine house, loads of wood, tiles and the idea that it is romantic to have a bathtub in the bedroom. For my taste it is too dark, too woody but of course I don't have to live there. It is just that from the outside it looked a bit more promising. But all in all very impressive craftsmanship - just not for me. Can't see anything cute there, either.

My first thought as the camera panned to the right and into the living room was that the window was about four feet too short. There is no way a person could sit on that couch and see anything but tree tops. It looks SO out of place way up like that. What were they thinking? It looks like it was in a daylight basement room! When a home is placed in a beautiful setting such as this, people want to be able to sit inside and SEE that. That goes for both bedrooms. Those windows are all too high for people inside to sit and enjoy the view! Personally, I would have floor to ceiling windows in those three rooms. Built by city folks, that's for sure. "Block out those neighbors!" Sigh. If it were not for that, this would be a beautiful place.

Jonathan Midkiff now why on earth would you think that? No price is given, because the prices change - people lower the prices, sometimes a person will buy and resell. So if you want the price, go to our free website - doesn't cost a dime.

I have been educated from the past bad experience in renting. I have purchased broken down homes (as is properties). Fixed them up, brought everything up to 100% code. I have rented them out, and I still in the process of renting. I have rented to families that took pride, and care in living in my rental home, and then there others who took advantage of me deeply. They literally tore up my rental property. I tracked them down through there employment, and references. I brought justice to them, with pictures to the judge proof what was done of my properties. They had to pay for the damage that was done to my rental properties. Now days, I have decided to rent my properties to corporations that have international employees that have employees and families living here in the United States 7 to 15 years. My homes come with all the bells and whistles, so my customers come from europe just suitcases of there clothes. Nothing else .

I agree with the other ladies. Tub in bedroom gone. Wall it off add a toilet and vanity. Add tub shower combo to the upstairs bathroom. And try and figure out better seating in the kitchen. Oh and whoever hooked up the washer and dryer should be punished by having to do laundry there for a week. Get a bigger washer and dryer set and if stacked put them in the middle of closet/closed bi fold doors not behind the open right side door. How can anyone do laundry when the bi fold lands right in center of the washer and dryer. A sliding barn door would better when the washer and dryer needs to go in a closet. I really hate bi folds on the laundry areas in vacation rental
