CabinetPartsPro and VCarve MDF Shaker Doors

In the mid 70's to 81 my dad had his own shop making cabinets and I would help him until 78 when I joined the military. We used to make cabinets out of hardwood and now MDF seems to be the standard. Is MDF great for painted cabinets? What ever happened to real wood? I'm looking to get back into cabinet making starting out with remodeling our own kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Can you do most of the work with a CNC or do you still need a planer, jointer and traditional machines?

Can this be done in an older version of vCarve? I have 9.5 and have not upgraded yet because I don't feel I am missing anything that warrants the upgrade costs.

how many door files are included with cabinet parts pro? Is there a good amount or do alot of customizations need to be made like you are doing here?

This was a totally custom set-up. Have you checked out CabinetPartsPro.com? There's lots of free training videos there. And they have release some new updates recently, which may improve on what you see in this (slightly outdated) video. All the best!

@@cncexperts Do you have contact with Ryan at CabinetPartsPro? I want to use Cabinet Parts Pro but it doesn't have a post processor for my Onefinity Journeyman CNC. I called him and he said he would make one but it's been a month and I have been unable to reach him since. His voice mail is full and he has not answered texts. I'm considering VCarve Pro and exporting to use their toolpathing. VCarve is up to version 11 and the apply templates to all sheets gadget stopped at V9. Sooo, V11 is supposed to have new sheet features; did this affect the "all sheets" template? Is it still possible to export from CPP to VCarve? I've been going in circles for a month and I am FRUSTRATED!!
