As far as I'm concerned old Cable is the only Cable. Young Cable is like some twisted Mojo universe thing going on. In fact the entire krakoa storyline sounds like something seen on Mojo television. Especially with them dying and coming back for your viewing pleasure. Reality television.

@@Popcultureguy3000 Kinda excessive. One thing that people continually overlook is that writers never intended for Scott to leave Madeline for Jean. He only left because Angel said it was something important and didn't say what it was. Then Maddie gave Scott the ultimatum and took off and ghosted him when he tried to call her.

Old Cable was too good of a badass to stay dead... Why you BlerdWithoutFear would prefer the inexperienced kid cable over the original Cable, is beyond me.... Classic Cable could take on the avengers single handedly, without breaking a sweat. He was a highly experienced tactician, weapons specialist. Absolutely everything you'd expect from a MadMAX meets Arnold the Terminator type soldier fighting Apocalypse in the future. Giving back the techno organic virus to him was a serious six steps back in my opinion as well as from a lore standpoint.

Let’s not forget Cable Reloaded will be taken place two months after the series end, but surely Old Man Cable might be involved in some capacity (security-wise) with S.W.O.R.D. (which should connect to Reloaded, since it’s a crossover one-shot in The Last Annihilation), if I recall what JDW, Duggan, or Ewing have said in X-Men Monday.

I don't understand how The Council or more specifically, Xavier allows the Krokoan laws to be broken when it suits him. Murdering humans is allowed on special occasions, duplicated characters are allowed on special occasions? & even skipped ahead of everyone else that has not yet been resurrected. Certain requests are turned down because their death has not been confirmed (Wolfsbane's son.) We may or may not be getting Gabby (Scout) back, but Prodigy had a clone & here, we have not only Styfe, Kid Cable, but now 'Old Man' Cable returned. All 3 genetically the same

Its actually my favorite Cable issue, although the title is not really one of the best for me in this Krakoan era. Seeing the old man back and reunite with Hope is heartwarming and the best moment of the series for me. I hope Old Cable stays and kid cable obviously have to return to the future to correct his timeline.

Cable would probably see the council as paper pusher who kneel before Krakoa who seems to like reminding them that they're guests and that it could kicked them out and stop giving them the plants anytime it wanted. Xavier once practically kneel before the island and Wolverine admitted that it was Krakoa who was the one in charge when it came to the island. Most of the mutants' political and economical power comes from it and it's kind, even with the mysterium from the white hot room which they use "Krakoa tech" to get. Krakoa practically owns mutantkind and Cable probably has better things to do then be someone's flunky.
