Another awesome fun fact is the fact that the Marvel MMORPG Marvel Heroes Online actually referenced Cables HVB as one of his signature moves and as a unique item you can find for him to equip. Honestly amazing and impressive how much the devs went out of their way to reference the MVC series

4:10 Honestly if you ask me, I think it’s a good thing the Capcom devs decided to hold off on using Cable until the late 90s when he had a more sleek X-Men outfit to wear in the comics cuz I can imagine it probably being absolute hell to draw and animate sprites of all those pouches and gadgets he typically wore lmao 🤣

The time flip is a reference to cable time traveling through the use of "body sliding" technology. Also great channel man. Very solid breakdowns of characters and moves and you speak with a good cadence.

You know, I don't know how I forgot about his bodysliding considering I read a bunch of his first solo series (and Cable & Deadpool) not too long before producing this video. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm pretty sure that's what he's doing for his pre fight intro as well. Appreciate the kind words!

I grew up reading a lot of X-Force and Cable, but MvC2 really elevated my love of the character. Great recommendations with the Messiah Trilogy. If you don't mind me sharing one, Cable: Past Fears is a great read.

The Seventh Force this is EXACTLY the content I love. I grew up on the VS series with MVC2 being the pinnacle of high speed competitive play. Team Scrub, Storm/Cable/Sent were my top tier staple teams in the beginning. Keep up the good work!
