Thanks for the video. However, is it for Cable size design and verification against 3 criterias need to consider 1. Load Current 2. Voltage drop 3. Short circuit current Also maybe bit more information on selection of suitable cable based on the application like normal consumers, emergency consumers and also the hazardous area Installations etc.

acording to what you use 1.25*FLC ? is it IEC standard or other electrical code ?

Hi, Thanks and appreciate for the good information that you share. Just wish to ask one question.... Motor starting current : since in this video there are 7 runs of cable so it was satisfactory current carrying capacity (all together) compared with starting current of the motor, my question is you done voltage drop calculation with starting current so does it means we need not consider Staring current of the motor separately for selecting the cable?? Or does it mean, if voltage drop calculation with starting current is not satisfactory then we can add or increase the size of cable which on the other hand can serve the starting current of the motor? Kindly please give some explanation. Thanks for the video.

We must need to comply Voltage drop condition at starting current for motors.
