Cable wrapping the Sennheiser HD25-1

The main reason is that people like to stand out a bit but they do have a proctical purpos as well... It stops the cable from tangling, adds strain relief and protects the cable when you stand on it or trap it in a flight case or something

Fair enough. I bought mine because they sounded good and I used them straight out of the box, but then I'm not a DJ! What I did do was make-up a short length of cable (socket to plug) to swap the channels, as I found that having the cable dangling on the rh side was a bit irritating. I'm right-handed and do quite a lot of editing on my pc, so mouse and 'phone cables tended to interfere with each other. Drinking a cuppa was also awkward. I wonder why S'heiser configured the phones like this.

I Know what you mean.. Nearly every other model has the cable on the left. I think it is because these were originally designed for camera men and sound guys - I suppose if you are toting a camera on your right shoulder it would stop the cable getting in the way

do you have to use a hair dryer or can you use anything eles as i havent got 1 and dont really wanna go out and get 1 just to us it once
