is there a way to render the cables? i had a project recently where we used a lot of rope (as a scenography) which i have now drawn in capture using the cable tool. in the custom view mode they are visible in 3D but not in the live view... I undersatnd this might be a niche use case but it actually is the second time i have this issue. Last time i solved it by making my own 3D cables, but then i lack the nice features of Capture being able to tell me the lengt and such...

Cable rendering is a new feature request you may ask for in our dedicated forum (www.capture.se/Support/Forum/aff/104). Alternatively, you may use a cylinder from the library or import a 3D model of your choice.
