@WL_Outdoors yeah I was impressed! And we were down there getting some livebait for jacks but it was a quiet night unfortunately

I like the Uhlmann Road boat ramp. The amenities are good!

Depends on your location but you can get to cab river from Beachmere and Uhlmann boat ramp 😊 we have a car at both ramps for the convenience lol

Hi Mark, it would be worth walking to the mouth of the Caboolture from Beachmere on the low tide. Otherwise, Red Beach at Bribie and also Margate Beach can be productive for whiting this time of year.

I reckon if you are only going to choose one whiting rod, it would be the Gary Howard Breambo 4W (Low Mount Reel Seat) with an Alvey 500A spooled up with 8lb line.
