Cabooses! Friday Five. September 22, 2023.

East End's own Bill Christopher requested trains and their cabooses. It was a great request, so here it is. We have a lot more caboose action in the archive, so look for a sequel to this Friday Five with more cabooses.

R2 another remarkable glance “back”! Notice the complete and utter lack of “artwork “ on the freight cars! That Wild Mary shove, with 5 and a 35 is almost impossible to believe ever took place by today’s standards! How’s bout a Vista Dome (in) Friday ? Next time you talk to Kevin Lynch ask him for photos of GBW 112 and 113 I built for him.....112 is 2 athearn WV cabooses kitbashed and 113 is highly modified athearn bay window.....kitbashed alot of EJ&E in the 1990s, when I worked with you I was on a 1-25 scale truck kick mainly Macks of Chicago....back full force, although I'm mainly a south American modeler I'm modeling alot of GBW....picking up athearn kits in large numbers....as always though your videos bring huge inspiration for modeling!

To me, that's an indication that you folks paid a visit to their line as much as you did for WC.

That would be a cool program! We have a lot of footage of the CC&P, ICG and some short lines, all using Paducah geeps. I will search our database and see what footage is available. RR

Leaving early on Friday morning to run my Fairmont motorcar on the Indiana and Northeastern. It was either publish it on Thursday night or skip the Friday Five for a week. RR

@@mrmrb04 It was a great trip. Perfect weather, the car ran flawlessly, and we had a large group of 34 cars. I will post some video from the trip, including almost hitting a deer! RR
