That is what I think of Ostkustbanan (and Ådalsbanan). It is shame that that super important line is singeltrack all the way north above Gävle mostly with speeds at 110-140 km/h with the worst parts (especially Ådalsbanan) only at 80-90 km/h. UNDER 100?! It's like living in the stone age! Even other railways from the 1800s are better!

What time of year was this filmed? As I understand it, it's the middle of the day, but the sun looks like it's about to set, it's very low anyway.

Wow, the locomotive from thumbnail looks like Romanian locomotive "EA". In fact, these romanian locomotives were made by ASEA Sweden. Can you tell me the specs of your locomotive in terms of HP and Torque? Majority of romanians locomotives are EA 5100, (5100kW). Greetings from Romania 🇹🇩🙏 P.S. Now I saw in the description box that your locomotive is ASEA. So it must be "brothers"/"sisters". 😊

This was a difficult video to view because of the excessive amount of background glare which made distinguishing countryside very hard because the landscape was washed out due to the glare.

I rarely criticize cabview videos, but I found this one disappointing. I am wondering why you reloaded (?) a video which, except for the Karlstad to Kil section, was of a journey made almost directly into a very low sun. This reduced my enjoyment CONSIDERABLY. A video made in the morning, or going in the opposite direction, would surely have been better.

Don't waste your time viewing this. Best I can say about this video is that it was well intentioned. If you like beautiful scenery and interesting videos, check out "Railcowgirl", "Lorirocks" or "FrozenMoustache" videos on You Tube!
