What a beautiful little country. As an architect, I was delighted to see the quality of the design of the train stations and the delicacy of public space management. The stations are a virtual tour of various architectural styles, from the mid-19th century, the era of architecture by engineers, to contemporary design. Even modernist buildings, a plague that plagued cities around the world from the 1950s onwards, received light and humane treatment from the Dutch. I was once in Amsterdam, also a beautiful city; still, we know that small towns and the countryside keep unique treasures and represent the deepest soul of a country. Thank you for your video. This has been a great collection o your trips in Holland. Loved the steam engine part with the camera mounted pretty low, in between the buffers. This last bit, pretty sure I saw the same video in another one of you productions. I even remembered the passenger on the platform in the white top, having a smoke, I think. Blijkbaar vinden ooievaars de trein ook leuk. Vanaf 6:17:30 zie je verschillende nesten op de verticale steunpalen van de bovenleiding. Er zitter er zelfs twee op het nest als de trein passeert !

Where do I start here WOW just WOW Just finished watching this in one hit. 7 journeys of Nostalgia with Steam Night Ride (Would like to see more of these my preference). What a beautiful country Architecture different styles modern mixed with old. If memory serves me right u did the Steam one as a stand alone video but it was great to see it in the mix. Dont know how this excately how this works but at around the 15 minute mark when you were advised that there would be No conductor available at the certain point, did that mean that you would have to leave the actual cab of the train, stand outside andlike you said when it was time to close the doors you then yould blow a whistle, get bakc on the train, shut the doors, then have to go back to the trains cab????

Those are not the headlights but the high beams. I turn them off whenever there is oncoming traffic or stations.

Leuke vraag! De oudste nog originele en bestaande is Valkenburg. De jongste is volgens mij Lansingerland-Zoetermeer. Zwolle-Stadshagen was eerder gebouwd maar vanwege problemen later geopend. Ik vind dat dus niet echt het jongste station en houd het persoonlijk op Lansingerland als jongste station van Nederland.

@@CabviewHolland Er zijn wel wat nieuwe geplande stations in de maak. Waaronder misschien over 3 jaar dat de spoorlijn vanuit Emmen wordt doorgetrokken naar Stadskanaal. Ook al is Valkenburg de nog originele en bestaand station van Nederland, maar wordt niet door NS uitgevoerd. Dus nu mijn vraag: Wat is de originele en bestaande oudste station van Nederland waar de NS de vervoerder is??. Als iemand anders dit weet mag t hieronder in de comments..
