I often take my bike on the train & this is definitely my favourite train when I do so. NS seem to have rationalised the use of the different train types. On the route Zwolle- Rosendaal I now almost only see VIRM trains. Previously I saw DDZ, Koploper & VIRM trains.

Thanks for addressing this critical issue, but I must say that the text overlaid on this KZbin video is most difficult to read as a result of font size and image resolution. Please consider remediating. Thanks. 2024/09/20. Ontario, Canada.

This is a failure on part of the signalling logistics. What else could you do? Break hard, and everyone ends up in the front carrage.

I don't have anything to add on the signal problem, but I'd just like to say that I enjoy the information on the provinces that you've added.

Why don’t I ever hear a train horn on your Holland trains? Don’t you use them at grade crossings? Really enjoy your work.

No idea how this works in the Netherlands, but here in Portugal, pretty sure that the emergency brakes are the only option. And of course, calling the signaller/line management. Under ETCS, which I also think is used in NL, the brakes would be automatic. Since the majority of lines here are double tracked, there would be heavy delays. We also use CONVEL and Integra Signum (the latter I am not sure) but I dont know what these safety systems do in that scenario. I think you acted correctly, you ensured the safety of the passengers. Hats off to you!

Thank you for another ride through your country of the Netherlands, I can see why it is bustling in the west and quieter in the east, what I enjoy is as I look at different rides through the different times of the year I can see the different weather, I see the beautiful array of colour as we go through the tulip fields, looking forward to see the snow on the ground when it is winter, thank you again and I look forward to another beautiful ride

Hi Vincent. I have not been by yrs or Stefan's train trips in a long time. Trying to get my own Videos up of changes here in my local area, St Marys, Sydney Australia, for the coming Metro that will connect St Marys to our new Western Sydney Airport. Our South West Metro recently got extended and more of that is coming in the next year or so. Can share if interested. Thanks for a lovely journey on a nice sunny day in Holland.

Rhenen Grand Central? A CHDR joke, no? And we British are supposed to have a strange sense of humour. Were you aware that while stopped at Veenendaal West the 'pointer' of your on-screen speedometer exactly coincided with one of the rails of the other track and looked as if someone had painted the top of the rail red? It must have been a shortage of common sense which propelled that young lad at Utrecht to try and become one of your passengers. I thought that having waited for the late-running InterCity you might have been called upon to do a de-rusting slalom at the adjacent crossovers.

Hi, well I am watching your video with interest. at 9.20' mark while i write this. I like your invite to become a driver/conductor: i used to drive freight and passenger trains in the UK, finished with a clean record (No spads) so I am hoping that what you show in the opening is going to be a technical spad or you're given permission to pass a signal at danger. I love Holland (ex g/f from there 8)

M'n instructeur was ontzettend geschrokken.

What happens when a train has a wonky signal? First, you get a clickbait video with 1 hour and 13 minutes of useless filler. Then, the what happened part is removed. Thanks for posting clickbait.

@jschouten19856 күн бұрын
@DeBert6 күн бұрын
Lijkt me duidelijk toch...

Probably a fault in signal system, trespassing can lead to such situations, in Pakistan when a train is about to cross a junction specially a railway station, the station master contacts the driver and tells him that he can pass at MPS or any signal is faulty so reduce your spead, or you are being taken on the loop line. But your response was 100% justified, i have also seen this, we are at 120kmph and signal ahead suddenly turns red from green, the response from driver was sudden emergency brake and then contact the concerned station for clearance, after clearance we continued out trip, regards from Pakistan

17:38 is so beautiful my American brain is short circuiting. You're telling me you can have adequate bike lanes and reliable public transit mixed with cars and walking path, and beautiful rock gardens in-between? And all that space for trees! In my country this would have been filled up with an 8-lane avenue for cars only, and would take a pedestrian 10 minutes to cross from one side to the other, risking their life in the process.

Kind of a click baited title, only to NOT show the relevant part. So WHAT HAPPEND? Why was the singel turning red? Why exactly is it not allowed to show correctly following procedures and stop the train for safety and to figure out why?
