Interesting.video with a variety of landscapes. Thank you for to.put the nane of the stations. Curious the union of two train in the station of ZWOLLE but interesting method. Never seen in video from Germany, France, Italy, Suisse.The sun was absent.

But the ride was not on the 8 car trained the coupling created. Otherwise half the train would have hung over the back of the platform when the train stopped at ASSEN. On the other paw, the train shown at Groningen Europapark is that coupled pair of DDZ trains. It LOOKED like Assen had space for maybe three or four cars based on the blue signs. {O_O}

@@CabviewHolland I used Google Earth and now it makes sense. Only short trains can benefit passengers by stopping before the North end of the platform when going North. So a "2" length train, not necessarily 2 cars, stops at the blue 2 sign. All others stop at the "All trains stopping at this station stop here if you have not stopped already." I have to keep in mind the customer convenience aspect of those blue marker signs. {^_^}

51:30 - I wonder what protocol defines who drives the train into the couplers. And come to think of it, how many trains could be coupled together and controlled by one person sitting up front? Are the couplers smart enough to couple a DDZ to a VIRM, for example? 58:38 - stink-train. {^_-} 1:35:51 - I wonder if that yellow thing can crawl back up or if that is an "Aw S..t!" moment. That was a nice quiet no-excitement ride. That is always a good thing. With the advent of powerful computers running simulations of things like airflow over wings people started contemplating the concept that we are, ourselves, part of a cosmic size simulation running on some computer in some other reality. I note that if that is the case, the program needs "debugging." {^_-}

In this case, a DDZ is not coupled with passengers inside due t o the roughness that is needed to couple. So the Zwolle shunt driver waited for me with an empty and locked train. I do not know if there is a max of coupled DDZ, but I have never seen more than 2 sets together. All couplings of different trains are the same, so mechanically they always can be coupled mechanically. Not electrically so no electro pneumatic braking, etcetera.

@@CabviewHolland I was envisioning something absurd - an elephant walk with every train coupled end to end making a tour of at least a part of Netherlands. Heck, the vision of 4 or 5 DDZ coupled together winding through the countryside is an incredible photo-op. But, that's me being silly and dreaming rather than practical. (I must have watched too many model train videos with absurd numbers of cars on trains looping several times around a large room.) {^_-}

Dat is de nieuwe intercity trein. ICNG zal later moeten rijden maar moet natuurlijk eerst intensief getest worden!
