This combo is pretty cool. I think going all in with the combo tends to work out better at times. Turn 5 is usually where the deck makes or breaks.

I would suggest possibly running a one-of Ancient Imperiosaur and a one-of Voldaren Thrillseeker. That way, after milling your whole library, you can just throw a big dino at their head and win that way xD

I've been using urborg and coati scavenger to get roots back. Also 2 rutstein is an infinite with Tyvar and 2 roots out so I'd recommend at least 3 rutstein. Haven't been a fan of the squirrels because of the finality counters. Foraging with a roots out is pretty explosive but also scoops to board wipes sooo no thanks to the squirrels.

It does scoop to a board wipe, but I just play 4x deepcavern bat and use them to pick apart the opponent's hand. The only thing I can't play around is a wrath off the top, but sometimes thats just how magic goes.

The point of the squirrel is to kill in one turn with Tyvar. My version runs a single Voldaren Thrillseeker and you just mill the whole deck and then fling the biggest roots token for the win. Still vulnerable to instant speed kill spells though, but just don't go all in against open mana in B/W.

Pillage the Bog digs deeper to than Cache Grab to find Roots, but it doesn't mill.
